Jocelyn Lachapelle: Freestyle photographer in Victoriaville

I am a photographer in Victoriaville, Quebec. I specialize in freestyle or creative photography. For those who don’t know what freestyle photography is, it is the technique that brings together: classic photography, photojournalism, modern art and that which favours spontaneity. The result? Photos that are expressive and dynamic with dazzling artistic value. With this technique, the photographic message is powerful and charged with emotion; a photo with expression and made with mastery. The observer is at once attracted; they contemplate the image as if it were a painting, only with a photograph, the photographer is not the creator of the message, but more of an interpreter of the photographed subject. We have certainly come a long way from photographing an expressionless, stationary subject, that we would just call a physical archive.

My photographic services vary from: babies, children, family, maternity, couples, wedding, boudoir, glamour, and more. I also work on photo-reporting projects, corporate portraits and artistic photography.

A studio with a new trend.

Yes, it is possible to obtain stunning photos in Victoriaville! There’s no need to travel outside of town to have original photos, with good taste and created with care.

My photographic studio, with its well situated location downtown, is very different from a cold atmosphere where we “shoot the portrait” as we said in years past. Its layout is pleasantly arranged and relaxing with a bit of a New York look. The modern and cosmopolitan surroundings invite you to relax and be at ease. There is no waiting room, there is no pressure. To create captivating photos that you’ll really love its important that you are comfortable and that I have your confidence. That’s why we offer a friendly environment where we take our time to get to know you.

Do you live outside the Bois-Francs region? Although I practise my professional photography in Victoriaville, I would gladly travel to you. I am well known as a photographer in Trois-Rivières, Drummondville and Sherbrooke as well.
